BY CAR
From Rome: Leave the motorway at "Firenze Sud" and follow directions for "Centro". Arriving at the traffic light at the end of Lungarno Del Tempio turn right. Proceed towards Piazza Beccaria then along Viale Antonio Gramsci on into Viale Giacomo Matteotti until you reach Piazza della Libertà. Take Via Lorenzo Il Magnifico which is to your right, at the first traffic light turn left into Via Poliziano. Carry on along Via Santa Caterina into Via Nazionale until you reach the Santa Maria Novella central train station. Turn left into Piazza Unità d'Italia and turn into Via del Melarancio. First right into Via del Giglio and on your left you'll find Garage Giglio where you may park your car, the rate is 26 euro for 24 hours inclusive of the access tax. Hotel Nizza is to your left when you walk out of the garage, over the main road at the traffic light which cut Via del Giglio in two parts. Immediately on your right you'll find Hotel Nizza. If you wish to reach the hotel directly with your car take the same route as for the garage but after passing the garage proceed to the traffic light and turn left into Via Panzani. After a few metres first right making an almost "U" turn into Via dei Banchi. The first street on you right is Via del Giglio. We are at number 5. When you reach the end of Viale Redi, turn right and then left for Via Guido Monaco, continue down Via Guido Monaco and then turn left for Via Fratelli Rosselli passing under the railway bridge into Viali di Circonvallazione which pass around the "Fortezza da Basso" continuing towards Viale Lavagnini. At the first traffic light turn right for Via Santa Caterina and Via Nazionale until you reach the Santa Maria Novella central train station. Following the roundabout turn into Piazza Unità Italiana and take Via del Melarancio, then right into Via del Giglio and on your left Garage Giglio where you may park your car, the rate is 26 euro for 24 hours inclusive of the access tax. ZTL (Zona a Traffico Limitato)
Hotel Nizza is in the heart of the historical centre of Florence and the whole area is a limited traffic zone. For access to this area there is a tax absorbed in the cost of the garage, otherwise in any other cases this tax is paid directly to the hotel. The car's plate number must be comunicated immediately upon arrival at the hotel. The areas around the historical centre and far into the outer suburbs are subject to severe parking restrictions. In most cases parking is permitted only for residents of the zone or otherwise subject to payment inside blue lines.

From Florence Airport "Amerigo Vespucci" you can reach the hotel with the shuttle bus "Vola in Bus"(Sita/Ataf bus companies for 4,50 euro one way) which leaves you at the Santa Maria Novella central train station or by taxi (approx 25 euro). To reach our hotel by foot see directions as below ("by train").
BY TRAIN
From the Santa Maria Novella Station you may take a taxi (approx 8 euro) or on foot in 5 minutes. From Piazza della Stazione go towards the Duomo along Via Panzani. At the first traffic light turn right into Via del Giglio and on your right at number 5 you will find the entrance to Hotel Nizza.
